PING G440 MAX Driver
The G440 MAX is the most forgiving model in the G440 driver family, designed to fit most golfers. It is available in 9°, 10.5°, and 12° lofts, with a three-position adjustable back weight to influence shot shape and trajectory.
Technology Highlights
- Free-Hosel Technology: Weight removed from a section of the hosel is re-allocated to lower the center of gravity (CG), resulting in faster ball speed, optimal spin, and higher launch for straighter, longer drives.
- Hotter, Thinner Face: A lower face height allows for a thinner, faster face to enhance ball speed and consistency, even in off-center strikes (like the high heel region).
- CarbonFly Wrap Crown: The CarbonFly Wrap crown saves weight, re-allocating it to lower the CG for increased forgiveness and a pleasing, muted sound at impact.

- System weight reduced by 10 grams.
- Standard ALTA CB Blue shaft length is 46" (¼" longer than previous models), helping increase swing speed.
- Heavier 3-Position Adjustable Back Weight: Features a 29-gram adjustable back weight to fine-tune draw, fade, or neutral shot shaping.
- Trajectory Tuning 2.0 Adjustable Hosel: Lightweight, 8-position hosel adjusts loft by ±1.5° and lie angle up to 3° flatter than standard, allowing further ball flight customization.
