Motocaddy Electric Trolleys
Range Overview
The 2025 S1 range has Motocaddy's easiest folding mechanism, available in Standard, DHC (downhill control), and Ultra Lithium battery configurations. Honestly, if boot space matters or you just prefer something lighter, this is the one. The 2026 M1 models step things up with a more adjustable handle and better wheel design. You can get them in Standard, DHC Standard Lithium, DHC Ultra Lithium, and Ultra Lithium variants.
For golfers who actually want some tech on board, the SE and SE Ultra feature an OLED widescreen display with distance measurement and score tracking. Pretty handy. Then at the top end, the M5 GPS DHC models combine full GPS functionality with downhill speed control and the Ultra Lithium battery for extended range. DHC versions automatically regulate speed on slopes – genuinely useful if your course isn't pancake flat. Ultra Lithium batteries will get you up to 36 holes from a single charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Standard and Ultra Lithium batteries?
Standard Lithium batteries typically give you 18 holes on a single charge, whilst Ultra Lithium extends that to 36. If you play twice weekly or just hate charging between rounds, Ultra makes sense. For occasional golfers, Standard is perfectly adequate and costs less upfront.
Do I need downhill control?
DHC models automatically slow the trolley on downhill slopes, which is genuinely useful on hilly courses. On flatter tracks it makes less difference. If your home course has significant elevation changes, worth having. If you mainly play somewhere flat, probably not essential.
Can I upgrade the battery later?
Yes. Motocaddy batteries are interchangeable across the range. You can start with a Standard Lithium and upgrade to Ultra later if you find you need more capacity.
