Range Overview
The JPX 925 collection offers four distinct iron models: Hot Metal for maximum distance and forgiveness, Hot Metal Pro for better players wanting more workability, Hot Metal High Launch for slower swing speeds, and Forged for that softer feel without sacrificing distance. All available in steel or graphite, right and left handed configurations. The Hot Metal also comes in black or chrome finish if you fancy something different.
The JPX ONE series brings Mizuno's Fli-Hi technology to drivers, fairway woods and hybrids, delivering a proper combination of speed and stability. You've got standard and Select driver models to choose from, or the Tour fairway if you prefer a more penetrating flight.
For precision scoring, the Pro wedge range includes T-1 and T-3 models in multiple finishes. The T-1 suits players wanting more spin and control, whilst the T-3 provides slightly more forgiveness on partial shots. Bundle sets give you three wedges matched for consistent gapping.
The Pro iron family caters to accomplished players. There's the S-1 for compact blade enthusiasts, S-3 for a slightly larger muscle-back profile, and M-13 and M-15 models that blend forgiveness with shot-shaping ability.
Why Evolution Golf
We're authorised Mizuno dealers stocking the full range of current models in both steel and graphite shafts. Custom fitting at our Ringwood store ensures your clubs match your swing dynamics, not just standard specifications. Our fitters work with Mizuno's comprehensive shaft matrix to find your optimal launch conditions.
We offer delivery across the UK, and if something doesn't work out, our returns policy gives you proper peace of mind. When you're investing in precision equipment like Mizuno, getting the fitting right matters more than the model name. You can read all the reviews you want, but what works for someone else might not suit your swing at all.
FAQ
Which JPX 925 iron model should I choose?
Hot Metal suits mid to high handicappers wanting maximum distance. Hot Metal Pro is for single-figure players who prefer a slightly smaller profile. Hot Metal High Launch helps moderate swing speeds get the ball airborne more easily. Forged gives better players that softer feel with modern ball speed technology. Honestly, the best way to decide is to book a fitting and we'll show you the differences on our launch monitor. The numbers tell the story pretty quickly.
What's the difference between T-1 and T-3 wedges?
The T-1 features Mizuno's Grain Flow Forged HD process with tighter grooves for more spin control. It's ideal if you're comfortable with precise contact. The T-3 uses a slightly wider sole and Quad Cut grooves for more consistent performance across the face, particularly helpful on less-than-perfect strikes. Both come in multiple finish options including soft white satin and black ion.
Can I mix JPX 925 and Pro irons in one set?
Absolutely. Many better players combine JPX 925 long irons with Pro short irons. The 925 models provide more forgiveness where you need it, whilst Pro irons give you control in scoring clubs. We can build combo sets during your fitting session at our Ringwood store to match transitions smoothly through the bag. It's more common than you'd think.
