Wilson Golf Equipment
Range Overview
Wilson keeps things pretty straightforward with how they organise their clubs. The DYNAPWR range has game-improvement stuff like the Max irons with those chunky, forgiving faces. Then the Staff Model line is where better players go, with the blade, CB cavity back and XB distance options.
You've got the DYNAPWR Carbon and LS drivers if you want tour-level adjustability, or the Max and Max+ versions if forgiveness matters more to you (they use rear weighting and draw bias tech to keep things straighter). For wedges, the Staff Model ZM series gives you properly milled grooves in standard and high-toe shapes.
The Infinite putter collection takes those classic head designs everyone recognises and adds counterbalanced stability without charging premium prices. And Wilson's golf balls covers pretty much everything. The three-piece Staff Model compression balls at the top end, right down to the Duo Soft, which honestly remains one of the best-value distance balls you can buy. That thing is ridiculously soft.
We also stock Wilson bags, including that iLock cart system people seem to rate, plus padded travel covers, gloves and the usual accessories. Whether you're putting together a complete Wilson setup or just filling gaps in what you've already got, Wilson delivers solid performance without making you remortgage.
Why Evolution Golf
We're authorised Wilson dealers, which matters because it means you're getting genuine UK stock with full manufacturer warranty and access to everything in their current range. Our Ringwood store has custom club fitting for Wilson irons, drivers and fairway woods. We use launch monitor data to actually match shaft and spec to how you swing, not just hand you what's in the box. We keep both new and approved pre-owned Wilson kit in stock. Standard delivery sorts mainland UK, and our returns policy means you're not stuck if something doesn't work out. If you'd rather see the clubs properly or get fitted, come visit us in Ringwood and we'll walk you through the differences between the model lines.
FAQ
Which Wilson irons should I choose?
The DYNAPWR Max irons work for mid-to-high handicappers who need maximum forgiveness and help getting the ball up. DYNAPWR Forged gives you a softer feel but keeps that game-improvement shape for players who are trending downward with their handicap. Staff Model CB is for single-figure golfers who want to shape shots, and the blade is a proper muscleback for elite ball-strikers. The Model XB sits somewhere between those last two, adding distance tech to a player's profile.
Are Wilson Staff golf balls tour quality?
The Staff Model and Model X are proper tour-level balls with urethane covers and compression designs that stack up against the premium stuff from anyone else. The Model runs a firmer 90 compression for control, the Model X sits at 75 compression for a bit more speed. Both have that TRK360 alignment system on certain versions. And they're noticeably cheaper than equivalent balls from other brands, which helps.
Do Wilson drivers compete with major brands?
The DYNAPWR Carbon driver uses the same adjustable hosel and carbon crown technology you'll find in tour-level clubs from any manufacturer. Wilson's touring pros actually use these drivers in competition. The LS version gives you low-spin performance if you've got faster swing speed, and the Max+ adds draw weighting if you fight a slice. The technology is current, the performance is legitimate, and you're paying substantially less than you would elsewhere.
