The Odyssey TRTL Max Square 2 Square Putter takes the new TRTL mid-mallet shape and pairs it with Odyssey's Square 2 Square zero torque design. The shaft is positioned so the head is lie balanced, with the toe pointing straight up, so the face resists opening and closing during the stroke and returns square to the path more easily.

Inside the face is the Ai-Star Insert, designed using Artificial Intelligence. A dual-layer build of an aluminium inner layer and firmer urethane outer layer keeps ball speeds consistent across the face, promotes forward roll and gives the soft feel Odyssey inserts are known for.

Add a long, unbroken Tour Track alignment line, a multi-material high-MOI head and the new Odyssey Reverse Taper grip, and the TRTL Max S2S is built to keep the face square and the ball on line.

Square 2 Square Zero Torque

Square 2 Square places the shaft axis in line with the head's centre of gravity, creating a lie-balanced putter with 90° toe-up hang. Because the head has no natural tendency to rotate, the face stays square to the path with less hand manipulation, helping you start more putts on your intended line, especially under pressure.

Ai-Star Insert

Odyssey used Artificial Intelligence to design the Ai-Star face so that strikes towards the heel, toe or low on the face lose as little speed as possible. The aluminium inner layer and firmer urethane outer work together for consistent ball speed, better distance control and a soft, responsive feel at impact.

New FRD Groove

The redesigned Forward Roll Design groove is deeper and more aggressive than before. With a 19° slope, it works with the dual-layer insert to grip the ball and promote true forward roll across the full height of the face.

Multi-Material Construction

The TRTL Max S2S combines a premium black PVD steel body with a lightweight ABS thermoplastic shell and an aerospace-grade aluminium sole. Saving weight in the shell and sole moves mass out to the perimeter, maximising MOI for a putter that stays stable and protects ball speed on mishits. Four 10g weights (two front, two back) give a 375g head for smooth, controlled pace.

Tour Track Alignment & Square Setup

A long, contrasting Tour Track line gives you one clear reference to aim with. The head is also engineered to sit flush on the ground and settle square at address, so you set up the same way every time.

Odyssey Reverse Taper Putter Grip

Developed with Tour feedback, the Reverse Taper sits comfortably in the hands, quietens the wrists and gives better awareness of where the putter face is pointing throughout the stroke.
