PXG Wedges
Range Overview
The Sugar Daddy 3 uses hollow-body construction with a tungsten sole weight to create remarkable forgiveness in a wedge. It's ideal if you struggle with consistency on partial shots or prefer extra help from greenside lies. The 0311 Forged models deliver pure feel through a single piece of soft carbon steel, appealing to better ball strikers who prioritise feedback and workability.
For maximum spin in soft conditions or from tight lies, the Stick 'Em wedges feature PXG's most aggressive groove pattern and sharper edge radius. They're designed specifically for Tour-level short game control.
Each PXG wedge is available in multiple loft options from gap wedge through lob wedge, with various bounce and grind combinations to match your attack angle and turf interaction preferences.

FAQ
What bounce should I choose for my PXG wedge?
Higher bounce, around 12-14 degrees, works well if you have a steeper angle of attack or play softer turf. It prevents digging. Lower bounce, 8-10 degrees, suits shallower swings and firmer conditions where you want the leading edge to get under the ball cleanly.
How often should wedge grooves be replaced?
If you play regularly, grooves wear significantly after about 75 rounds. Particularly on sand and lob wedges. You'll notice reduced spin on partial shots first, especially from the rough where sharp grooves matter most.
Can I mix PXG wedges with other brands in my bag?
Absolutely. The key is maintaining consistent gapping, typically 4-5 degrees between clubs. Many golfers use different wedge brands based on specific needs. Though matching your gap wedge to your iron set often creates smoother distance transitions.
