Wilson Hybrids
Range Overview
The DYNAPWR hybrids use a carbon crown that shifts weight lower down, which makes them easier to get airborne and more forgiving when you don't catch it perfectly. You can get them in standard or left handed configurations if that's what you need. They're good for consistent distance without requiring a perfect strike every time.
Then there's the Staff Model RB Utility Iron. This one's more compact, designed for better players who want that iron-like control but with a bit more help than a traditional long iron gives you. It's proper for shot-shaping if that's your game. And the Profile package sets include hybrids as part of the full starter kit.
Why Evolution Golf
We're authorised dealers, which means you're getting genuine UK stock with full warranties. If you can make it to our Ringwood store, we do custom fitting where we'll sort out the right loft, shaft and lie angles for how you actually swing.
Online orders go out quickly across the UK, and if something's not right, our returns policy is straightforward. We can also help you figure out which Wilson Staff products will actually work with what you've already got in the bag rather than just selling you what's newest.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Wilson hybrid is most forgiving?
The DYNAPWR range is your best bet for forgiveness. That carbon crown design and how they've weighted the perimeter means you get decent ball speed even on off-centre strikes. The bigger head looks confidence-inspiring when you're standing over the ball too, which helps. If you're binning your 3 and 4 irons, these are what we'd recommend first.
What's the difference between the Fybrid and standard hybrids?
The Fybrid has a flatter, wider sole – think more fairway wood than traditional hybrid. This means it works better from tight lies and off the deck. Some players love that. Others prefer the narrower profile of something like the DYNAPWR or D7 because it gives them more control for working the ball. It really comes down to what you're trying to do with it really.
Do you stock left handed Wilson hybrids?
We do. The DYNAPWR comes in left handed. If you need particular lofts or shaft specs that we don't have on the shelf, pop into the Ringwood store and we can talk about custom ordering. Sometimes we've got pre-owned options worth looking at too.
