Wilson Putters
Range Overview
The Infinite range is the heart of what Wilson does with putters. They've named the models after Chicago landmarks, which is a nice touch. You've got Windy City, Grant Park, West Loop and Michigan Avenue. The main difference between them? Head shape. Blades through to mallets, but they all share that double-milled face for consistent roll and the counterbalanced shaft that helps smooth out your stroke.
Staff Model putters are where things get properly tour-spec. These use 303 stainless steel with some genuinely intricate milling on the face. The TM22 is your traditional blade. Clean, compact, builds confidence if that's your preferred look. The BL22 goes for more stability with its bumper-led design. Both give you exceptional feedback. And yes, these are built to exactly the same standards as the ones Wilson's tour players use.
Wilson putters also show up in their complete package sets. The Profile set, for instance. Worth considering if you're just getting into golf or it's time for a full refresh of what's in the bag.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the Wilson Infinite putter models?
Mostly head shape and how the alignment aids work. Windy City is your traditional Anser-style blade. Grant Park adds a slant neck, which changes what you see when you're standing over it. West Loop and Michigan Avenue step up into larger mallet territory with progressively more MOI, so they're more forgiving when you don't catch it dead centre. But they all use the same double-milled face and counterbalanced shaft setup.
Are Wilson Staff Model putters suitable for mid-handicappers?
Yeah, absolutely. They're built to tour specs, but that doesn't make them hard to hit. The milled face gives you excellent feel for distance control, which helps everyone regardless of handicap. TM22 blade is perfect if you like a compact look. BL22 offers a bit more forgiveness through that bumper design. Worth trying both at our Ringwood store to see which one makes you feel confident when you're standing over a putt.
What length putter should I choose?
Most people end up somewhere between 33 and 35 inches depending on height and how they set up. If you're between 5'9" and 6'1", then 34 inches is usually the sensible starting point. Taller and you'll probably want 35. Shorter and 33 makes more sense. But proper fitting also looks at arm length and your actual posture over the ball. So if you want to be certain before buying, book a fitting appointment.
