The new Cleveland RTZ 2 Tour Satin wedge in left handed is the next generation of Cleveland's tour blade wedge, and the first to be shaped with founder Roger Cleveland back at the design bench. Softer-feeling Z-Alloy, loft-by-loft weighting with ZipCore iQ and a refreshed family of Roger Cleveland signature grinds give you more spin, more consistency and more ways to play the shots you see around the green.

The Tour Satin finish is the classic tour look: a chrome-plated Z-Alloy head with a soft satin brush that cuts glare at address while staying durable and rust-free for seasons of play.

Available at Evolution Golf in 48°–60° lofts, built specifically for left handed golfers, with the Low, Mid and Full grinds.

Key technology

Z-Alloy

A steel developed by Cleveland exclusively for golf clubs, now in its second generation. It is softer and less dense than traditional wedge materials for better feel and forgiveness, while staying tough enough to hold its performance over time.

ZipCore iQ

A lightweight core in the hosel moves mass away from the heel and towards the centre of the face. On RTZ 2, the size and shape of that core is individually optimised for each loft and grind, so every wedge in your bag is weighted for the way it is actually used. The result is tighter dispersion and more predictable distances.

HydraZip

Face blasting and laser-milled lines, configured by loft group, help maintain spin when the ball or the grass is wet.

UltiZip grooves and Rotex milling

Sharper groove edges bite through grass and debris at impact, deeper channels clear away moisture, sand and turf, and a roughened milled face texture adds friction for predictable stopping power.

Which RTZ 2 grind is right for you?

Low grind (6° bounce)

Built for shotmakers. Relief through the heel, toe and trailing edge keeps the leading edge tight to the ground when you open the face, making it the pick for firm, dry conditions, tight lies and players with a shallow, sweeping action.

Mid grind (10° bounce)

The all-rounder and the right starting point for most golfers. A V-shaped sole with moderate trailing-edge relief lets it glide through the turf on full shots, pitches and chips in most conditions and suits the widest range of swing types.

Full grind (12° bounce)

The most forgiving option in the range. Extra bounce adds stability on full swings and real confidence from bunkers, thick rough and soft, wet UK winter turf. Ideal if you take a deeper divot or have a steeper swing.

What is the difference between the Cleveland RTZ and RTZ 2?

RTZ 2 keeps the Z-Alloy construction and spin technology of the original RTZ, but upgrades to ZipCore iQ, with a hosel core tuned to each individual loft and grind rather than one design across the range. Every sole grind has also been refined by Roger Cleveland, and the classic 588 grind returns to the line-up.

Which bounce should I choose?

As a guide, choose lower bounce (Low or 588) if you play firm courses or sweep the ball with a shallow divot, and higher bounce (Full) if you play soft, wet courses or take a deep divot. The Mid grind is the best all-round choice for most golfers.
