Description
Srixon ZXi7 Gen 2 Golf Irons
The Ball-Striker's Iron.
The ZXi7 is the purest head in the range and makes no apology for it – thin topline, narrow sole, minimal offset. It is built for low-handicap players who want to shape the ball and feel exactly where it came off the face, and it prioritises workability over forgiveness.
Unlike the ZXi5 and ZXi5+, the ZXi7 is a single-piece forging in S15C carbon steel with tungsten toe weighting. Because it is forged from one piece it cannot carry a variable-thickness face, which is why Srixon give it a different technology entirely.
PureFrame iQ
An AI-assisted internal forged ridge sitting directly behind the sweet spot. It stiffens the impact zone and cuts unwanted face deformation, which raises MOI without softening the feel. Mass shifts towards the perimeter in the long irons and towards the sweet spot in the short irons.
i-FORGED Construction
Srixon's condensed forging process hammer-presses protrusions into the head to condense the grain structure in key areas. On a one-piece forging this is what delivers the feel the ZXi7 is bought for. Reworked this generation with Japanese forger Endo to strengthen the material around the grooves.
Progressive Grooves & Laser Milling
Wider grooves through the long irons; narrower, deeper and closer-set from the 8-iron down for approach spin, with laser milling between the grooves for friction in the wet.
Tour V.T. Sole
Tuned sole widths, bounce angles and heel and toe notching – essential on a narrow-soled players' iron.
