What's the difference between the Pro Fli-Hi and a standard hybrid?
The Pro Fli-Hi is closer to a driving iron with hybrid-like forgiveness. Much more compact head, sits flatter at address, and produces a lower, more penetrating ball flight. Better players often prefer it because you can work the ball both ways more easily than with a conventional hybrid design. Standard hybrids can feel a bit one-dimensional once you reach a certain level.
Do I need custom fitting for a hybrid?
It definitely helps, especially for shaft weight and flex. Your hybrid shaft should complement what you have in your irons and fairways so the transition feels smooth through the bag.
